My mother was a member of the Sunshine Society - I assume through her small Boggstown, Indiana high schooL from which she graduated in 1932. I still have her pin, and I wondered if there is any protocol for the disposition of pins or other items. It is a bow-shaped pin with a pearl-colored disc charm to which a gold-colored SSS logo is attched. Please let me know. Thank you. R. Kuehn

I'm looking for a previous member of the Sunshine Society. Her maiden name is Linda Harris. I' m not sure what High School she attended but she attended high school from 1957 to 1960. Does your organization have any membership records that date back that far? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Do you still have the words for the song? I used to lead the song with my black hair, black eyes and olive complexion, singing the glories of blue-eyed blonds! Seriously, it is a good memory and a good organization.

SSS was my very favorite organization when I was in high school. As long as the Sunshine Society exists, there will still be wonderful, kind and selfless people spreading charity in this world. Keep up the great work, ladies! Kristen Davis Eminence Chapter Sunshine Girl of the Year (2009)
